Sports massage is often used to prepare athletes before a sports event or to aid recovery from sports-related injuries. It focuses on specific muscle groups and uses techniques to enhance performance, reduce muscles soreness, and speed up the healing process.
If you are looking for a post-event massage, focusing on recovery and recuperation this needs to occur immediately after the event concludes. A post event massage serves to help an athlete relax and unwind. Lactic acid, while serving a valuable metabolic role during exercise, can be harmful when it lingers in the muscles, therefore it is essential to swiftly remove lactic acid to ensure optimal recovery. A post event massage is 30 minutes but please check availability before booking.
Full maintenance massages are the most popular. Clients typically schedule these treatments to address daily aches and pains. The massage can be tailored to the specific needs of the client. A full maintenance massage is one hour long.
